During this 3hr workshop you will: 

Learn technical skills 
to help you make your own video content 

Think creatively about what makes engaging & good-looking video

Film your own short video, then and there if you want to, in a supportive environment

Learn basic editing skills and how to brand your video

Workshop Two: THE WHAT

Practical Content Planning

So you are keen to use video in your business but after your first ‘This is me’ intro video you have no idea what else to make videos about? 

This workshop will get you started, and keep you going, using video within your business.

 

During this workshop you will:

Learn a step-by-step process for Planning your own content

Come up with a list of content ideas,that you can use for all your content marketing, not just videos!

Devise a plan of when and how you’ll produce your content.

Leave with the confidence to get started and keep going with videos for your business

  • Smartphone, camera or tablet capable of recording video
  • Any accessories you already having for video making (mini tripod, microphone, light...)
  • Inshot or FilmoraGo installed on your smartphone or tablet
  • A pen and notebook/paper

Carrie Harman, Local Videographer

Local Video Maker Carrie Harman

After completing a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Television Production at AUT, Carrie honed her visual storytelling skills in production roles in New Zealand and the UK, from Suzy’s World to Sky TV and the National Geographic Channel.
Carrie is now the director of Red Feet Video, producing videos for local businesses and supporting business owners who want to make their own.

Do you need help with the technical skills, to actually film and edit videos?  Attend Workshop One: THE HOW – Technical Tips and Practical Guidance. 

Do you need help with what to make videos about? Attend Workshop Two: THE WHAT – Practical Content Planning to get you started and keep you going. 

Answered Yes to both statements? Make a day of it and book on both workshops! Booking both workshops will not only give you a solid foundation for getting started with videos, but also gives you a 10% discount!

The first workshop for 2020 will be Monday 20th January, in Whangarei.

Totally! The workshops are very interactive and supportive and there is plenty of time to ensure everyone leaves feeling confident they can create a good looking, high quality video on their own. 

To book click one of the BOOK NOW! buttons, you will be taken to our event booking page on directly to the event booking. Ensure you select the correct date and location for the workshop(s) you want to attend. 

Once booked you will be sent an invoice by email. Payment is via bank deposit, within 7 days of booking. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received. 

Payment is required at least 2 days before your workshop. 

The workshops are being run by Carrie Harman, Director/Owner/Videographer of Red Feet Video Limited, a local business supporting other local businesses to use video.  Carrie loves sharing her knowledge to empowers others and believes that everyone who wants to should be able to use good looking, quality video content. Not just those who can afford top end production companies!

Carrie has many years experience teaching, from tutoring English to ESOL students and French to adult students at community night classes, to delivering workshops through local Playcentres and coaching small business owners in content and video creation.
